The clean, bright, luxurious ivory body enhanced with sumptuous judicious gilding make this Royal Worcester ivory chocolate pot a desireable acquisition, its vivid enameled flowers a coherent whole with the rest of the brilliant composition. The highlight is the classical bust, perhaps of a Greek goddess, looking down from the spout. 

Marked with the late 19th C. Royal Worcester back stamp, dating to c. 1887.
