The caption written in Kennedy's hand to Connors reads, With warm personal regards, John Kennedy.
A letter from David Foster to President Kennedy dated September 18, 1963 further substantiates the meeting. I surmise that that the third man in the photograph is indeed Foster.
The back of the frame bears the Chuck Connors estate sticker and auction lot.
