This jewel of an antique American Brilliant Cut Glass candlestick has conical tapering stem containing elongated tear drop with acorn top. The stem is cut with fan and cross hatching devices, the faceted broad shoulders supporting a faceted nozzle with everted rim. The circular base is cut with a 24 point star. The weight is quite substantial.
