A fabulous Art Nouveau inspired floral charger exquisitely plate painted with cherries in various stages of ripening. The plate has a baroque shaped finished with antique gold. It is a masterpiece of the genre. The artist signature was signed in white enamel, J Braun. Back is stamped with crown and shield with the initials P T.
The cherry motif with green leaves was a common motif in porcelain decoration at the time of this plate which is c. 1905. The example is exceptional.
