This marvelous pitcher is painted in the Indian Tree pattern which ran from 1802 - 1939 - well over 100 years. This example is early 20th century and is a rarity in that dinner service. The ribbed or lobed sides are enameled over with bounteous floral blossoms. A Greek key encircles the mouth and lid. A melon knop tops the cover. This pitcher is very desirable and would be a prize piece in an Indian Tree collection. With England as part of the green back stamp, we date this piece to c. 1910.
