Minton had a huge success on its hand with the Indian Tree pattern which some sources claim to be produced as early as 1840. These carefully hand decorated plates have stood the test of time and are as desirable today as they were over 150 years ago. Today, this porcelain bread and butter plate is as much a decorative art as it is functional piece. Minton is impressed on the back along with BB and other ciphers.
