An exceptional antique WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) cranberry glass covered punch bowl with fine enameled scrolling jeweling on a melon lobed body which sits atop a silverplate pedestal. The baroque repousse cartouches and gargoylesque C-scroll style handles put it over the top. The lid has an opening for a ladle. This beautiful monumental cranberry punch bowl dates to c 1890.
