A fine French gilt brass mantel clock retailed by Tiffany & Co. dating to c. 1900.
Case: the arched rectangular case with molded arched top inset with a bevelled glazed aperture over panels adorned with hand-painted floral motifs and a romantic pastoral scene, the upper centre with convex white enamel dial with painted floral garlands, black Arabic numerals, and ornate pierced brass hands, beneath a
plain glazed bezel, the rear door with bevelled opaque glass, on a straight molded ogee base with bun feet.
Movement: eight-day spring driven twin train movement striking the hours and half-hours on a blued steel gong
