Maxfield Parrish

Maxfield Parrish (American, 1870 - 1966) was an illustrator and fine artist who achieved enormous success during the first part of the 20th century, especially after the release of his masterpiece, Daybreak. He used old masters techniques to bring intense colors and geometrical sophistication to his compositions. His influence with subsequent generation of artists and entertainers continues to the present.
