The original gold frame is ornate and keeps alive the spirit of late 19th / early 20th C. aesthetics. Signed lower lower right.
Harold W. Lawes (1865 - 1940 ) was a British watercolor artist known primarily for his landscape scenes across the British island including Wales, Scotland, and England. He is known to have painted as late as the 1930s.
