Not only has Cairns & Bro produced high quality fire fighter safety equipment, but its helmets are true works of art as you can see in this vintage composite black helmet with attached visor. Its ear flaps and chin strap are still present. The front has sewn leather plack reading Explorer Conyers FD for Conyers, Georgia fire department. Note the metal fasteners and hardware which have in many cases been replaced with plastic in more modern versions.
I am not positive, but believe this model to be AEMT 662c Metro II or 360S Structure helmet.
ConditionGood - it is "game used" as they say but in good condition, having some scuffs here and there and roughed up visor.
