A superbly carved vintage wood portrait bust of a Balinese princess adorned with elaborate pierced headdress, stud earrings, and an ornamental collar with substantial neckwear; outlines of a sash are visible below her breasts. These busts were created during the height of tourist interest in Bali in the 1950s. This survivor has superb patina and presence and is larger than average.
