A finely cast vintage bronze Guanyin whose lost wax production method enhances the details which make this desireable bronze a show piecce. The finely coiffed hair, the necklace, Guanyin pouring the nectar of life in hand, and holding the pearl of wisdom in the other. Most gloriously, she is standing atop a toad within a double lotus, the waves swirling about the base.
We date this bronze to mid 20th century, and may be of Japanese manufacture, but still in the Chinese taste.
