This Grapette advertising sign is oval with the Drink Grapette Soda slogan and Reg U.S. Patent Office indicating that it is a very early version of this sign. Additionally, the sign uses Drink instead of the much more common Enjoy. Previous research showed it to be c. 1940, the year of Grapette's launch.
Given the persistence and revival of Grapette in the American and Latin American markets, and especially with Walmart, this sign is a golden treasure.
