1937 Photograph of London, Midland and Scottish Railroad Steam Locomotive

A very fine photograph of a 4-4-0 steam locomotive operated by the London, Midland, and Scottish Railroad arriving at St. Pancras London railway station which still operates today. This superb image was captured by H. W. Pontis who operated the photographer cooperative Railway Photo Service in Boston, Massachusetts and bears this firm's stamp. Additionally, some pencil description is found in the lower right corner.
