A substantial 19th-century carved Mediterranean coral cameo ring depicting Bacchus, the Roman god of wine and revelry. Executed in high relief and mounted in a solid 14K yellow gold setting with twisted rope border, this collector-quality example embodies the classical revival taste that defined much of the finest Italian cameo production during the late Grand Tour era.
