Toyohara Chikanobu

Known by his artist's name Yōshū Chikanobu (1838 - 1912), he produced prolifically as a painter and woodblock aritst. One of his more famous series of prints is known in English as Snow, Moon, Flowers, published as a set of 50 prints between 1884 - 1886, and again as crepe prints in 1895.
